Why Nautiloid?
When I started designing combat robots, nothing was
more disappointing than losing to a wedge. At the time,
the KitBot “Trilobite” was handing me loss after loss.
Trilobite’s name comes from an extinct group of marine
arthropods. Inspired by the creative nature of Trilobite’s
name, I chose to name my wedge killing robot Nautiloid,
one of trilobites’ natural predators. Where does
Baby Nautiloid come in? Well, it’s just a tiny Nautiloid.

With Baby Nautiloid, you get the shared experience from all the RAD robots.
