Battle in the Backwoods - 6.12.2021

Had a great time at Backwoods Combat Robots's "Battle in the Backwoods 1"! Everyone at the event was awesome and it was great meeting everyone, Jason Rogers and Jenna Rogers put on an excellent event! Can't wait for the next one!

Nautiloid V3.5 exceeded all of my expectations and is finally (Knock on wood) running reliably! It delivered some big hits and surprisingly, kept spinning up!

Baby Nautiloid got all new electronics before the event and suffered multiple brownouts during its fight with Minion Bob. I suspected the larger weapon motor (EMAX 2306 2750KV) was pulling much more current and for the next fight I ended up swapping the weapon motor back to the old EMAX RS2205 2600KV motor and the issue never came back!

Both robots went through really tough fights against excellent drivers but came out on top!
